Managers
Ali & Terry have lived in Bulgaria for the last 6
years with their 2 boys who go to school in the nearby
town of Smolyan. Ali is a professional cook and her specialty
is patisserie and cake decoration. She loves nothing more
than creating delicious home cooked meals for your culinary
delight.
Terry,
who is a carpenter by trade is an experienced walking
guide in the local Rhodope mountains. He has over 20 years
experience of hiking in the UK, and is also a very keen
bird watcher.
In
2004 Frances & Nigel bought Four Seasons Retreat as
a shell construction and had lots of personal imput into
the final design and layout of the house.
Their
ambition was to make it into a welcoming family home/guest
house where children can play in the
outdoor freedom in crystal clear air and families &
groups could have fun enjoying holidays and get together's
not just in the ski season but the whole year round.
Finally,
they furnished the house in a tasteful and comfortable
style with bright, cheerful, good quality soft furnishings
and pine furniture and modern appliances to make it feel
more like a home. Four Seasons Retreat was completed
in 2007 to very high standards.
The
village has many facilities and amenities such as many
food shops on the doorstep, several restaurants, a Post
Office, an ATM and a Tourist Information Centre right
and is also within easy access to nearby Smolyan Town
and Pamporovo.
